In the fall of 2010 we got rid of most of our flock as we had a cougar come and use them as teddy bears. The stress on the ewes was a little to much so we decided to get rid of all but a few head that the cougar had ripped up that fall. We kept 2 bottle babies, one being, Sally, Brittany's bottle baby, who you will see in several photos.
After only having a few sheep for a few years, the decision was made to get back into sheep again full force. In the fall of 2015 we acquired a flock of 60 ewes, of mainly Dorset and Dorset cross ewes along with 5 North Country Cheviot registered ewes. The decision to go mainly into registered animals is the ultimate goal.
During the spring of 2016 we acquired our First Bluefaced Leicester's and fell in love with their fleece and personalities. WE are loving the BFL sire cross with the NCC ewe. These are some of the best moms that we have.
