Well I did something, I have added Alpaca's to the farm. (Spring of 2024)
Here are a few pictures of the ride home and them settling in.
I am so excited.
We managed to get them sheared a few weeks back and they are adjusting to not having their coat on. Little bit cooler here than in central Alberta were they had come from. But all good as they have buildings and lots of straw to snuggle in for the cool night. I have am enjoying getting to know these girls. So far Annie and Jolene are the tamest and I can scratch them and Snow seems to stay with the sheep the most. The are all older except for Jolene as she is just a yearling. But they will live out their lives here on the farm.
