Within the registered ewes link, you will find pictures and the registration papers for all the registered stock. Still needing to add the Canadian Arcot ewes that Rob has brough to the flock. His Flock name is Last of the Line, more will be added as we have babies from these girls. Breeding November 2020 for lambing April 2021 We started with breeding 186 ewes to 5 different rams, 2 NCC and 3 BFL's. That quickly changed with in the first 2 weeks we had a bit of a wreck with a couple of the rams freezing a parts that should not have been froze. So we did some quick changing of rams and ended up with 1 NCC and 4 BFL rams out. So there will be lots of Mule babies come summer of 2022 as we do NOT sell babies until they are a year old. And right after breeding Kjerstin and Landon, Mud Lake Sheep, came and got all their commercial girls to start their flock. We will work on getting updated pictures of all ewes this year as well as getting all the Canadian Arcotts on line. For the 2020-2021 breeding season all arcotts were bred mainly to the BFL sires so am waiting patiently to see this cross. We will be looking for a new unrelated registered ram for these girls this summer. |
